Thanks all, keep 'em coming. Maybe a little game summary at halftime if you are not at the game unless you are at the game and then watch the 110 as I was in it the first year of the Socciarelli era. Anybody watching or listening to the game on anything besides ESPN3?

The ESPN 3 commentators are terrible. The one guys always saying Ohio University. He doesn't say University of North Texas. The name thing gets so annoying sometimes.

How did they score and how is the O-Line holding up? Any starters in at all on the O-Line? Save them for Marshall. Defense sounds like they are doing better, but Louisville just killed us when we were playing Zone defense. Too many potential holes in a Zone defense and Louisville found them. I think they won today 44-7.

How we scored, bandman? First play of the game, Tettleton found Chase Cochran for a 75-yard TD pass, then Boykin had 1 TD run, don't know who scored the third...

The two tackles, Prior and McGrath, both started...

Beau has looked good except for the 4th and 1 in the red zone, I feel for the most part our O-line has dominated and the d-line is holding its own.

Touchdown North Texas. 21-14 Ohio, 4:25 3rd quarter. 31-yard pass with a broken "tackle" (defender tried to knock the WR down rather than tackle him)

End of the 3rd, still 21-14 Ohio. Tettleton threw a pick that was immediately fumbled away by the UNT defender. Then Tyler throws another pick and North Texas is driving in Ohio territory.

You guys are awesome. Sounds like TO has a little bit of arrogance this year and making dumb plays. The defense is inexperienced and will only get better over the rest of the season. However, until they get a few games under their belts, they are going to get tired in the second half.

Had the chance to put it away earlier and didnt', but the team had two good drives in the 4th quarter to win the game. Good job Bobcats!

I'd welcome other opinions. TT looks like he is throwing off his back foot....I'm almost wondering if that is due to injury. The 3rd quarter interception looked like a miscommunication from his receiver. He made some clutch plays when he had to, including throwing it up and giving Cochran a chance to make a big play on 3rd down on their last drive.

Keep improving Bobcats....let's just take them one at a time.

Thanks my friend. It was a close one but I am really happy for Green redeeming himself this week and the coaching staff for sticking with him. Of course, they did not have much choice as their other decent kicker is injured. Hopefully, some of the injured players will be back next week as Marshall is fast and will be out to redeem themselves from the past couple of years.

TT is not arrogant. But getting an unsportsmanlike penalty--how does a qb do that? It gave NT 15 yards and put them a lot closer to scoring on one of their 2nd half td's.

Our d-line makes no plays at all. They're trying. But no tackles, espec none for losses. And no sacks and no qb pressure (unless we blitz). The good news is that we'll have a very good D if the d-line starts making plays. We need some d-lineman who can play and who are much bigger than the guys we're playing there now.

Penalties--we simply cannot have that many. And such no-brains ones: unsportsmanlike on qb, penalty when lining up to receive punt near end of game, two illegal procedures on our final scoring drive, many first downs achieved by NT on third downs due to penalties on the defense. Etc.

All in all, the D must have done okay. They were on the field a lot...because the O had a ton of possessions but did zilch on so many.

Uh, running straight up the middle on third and short yardage? Not yet, not with this O-line..until it develops more.

I said this game would be about leadership and playmaking. Save for Xavier Hughes and Boykin, I didn't see too much.

Don't like our chances against stupd cow unless we improve a lot. A lot.

I must agree with all of your analysis Monroe....TT is making mental mistakes unlike his play last year. If it is not a little bit of arrogance, then I do not think his head is always in the game and I must agree with the running up the middle. If it is done to wear down the defense, it is not working yet. The first 5 of six plays of the game was Blankenship up the middle last week. How about some quickness and speed occasionally and put Patterson in more. He is an exciting player that the Bobcat fans will enjoy for the next two seasons. He was awesome when he was in high school on a very good team at Plant City, FL.

Someone said that TT was checking off a lot of plays last week at Louisville. I have not heard anything more about it. Does anyone know if this is true and if so, did he do it a lot tonight? Maybe, that is why they stall on drives. Of course,I have not always been fond of Albin's play calling either except for most of the game last year at the Independence Bowl.
