He had the play of the game Saturday, and it wasn't the TD catch on the opening drive.  It was the catch in the fourth quarter where he reached around the defender with his right hand as he was falling down and caught the pass one-handed.  Not only was it a great circus catch, but it kept alive a drive that ended with a FG.

Rowdy, don't mistake Antonio's personal signature for a comment on the topic. I believe he just intended to praise Chase and had only seconds to get it out there.

We still need another TD receiver. Smith and Dovell can be but they are injured.  From the other teams view if you keep Cochran and Foster out of the endzone then you don't have too much else to worry about.

I'd like to see the TE's catch some TD's.  I also think we need someone else to step up. Waters is OK but he seems to be more of a possession type receiver.  Maybe Jordan Reid needs more touches...he's got the speed and size.

Not tryin to hijack the thread....kudos to Cochran....just worried a tad about the receiving corps.

. Maybe like me Antonio is unable to post from a regular computer. I have tried other computers but have been unable and can only post from my I-phone. I made one last try last night to post that Landon was getting reps for the Cowboys in the first quarter and my post was blank like Antonio's.

So I am not the only one.  This site has an issue or my computer needs upgraded.  Can no longer post on computer, that I always posted on.  Now I must use my IPad to post.  Strange, I was allowed to create a topic but could not type in the dialogue box.

Exactly right Pataskala.  It looked like he made the fourth quarter catch with one hand then brought it into his body.

If you use Internet Explorer and recently upgraded, that could be the issue. Turn compatibility mode on by clicking the icon next to the address bar.

C Money, thanks. I had changed to Mozilla just to be able to post. I knew it was something right in front of my face.

Is there any video of that grab by Chase?  That was a huge play--pitch and catch.

Haven't seen enough of our passing offense for me to be convinced that the lads who we are putting out there are less than optimal.  I like our receivers.  (Oh--there was one bad drop on Saturday, though.)

True about the catch but was that a receiver or was it one of the RB's.  I can't recall.

Go to about the 3:55 mark of this video.  Really nice angle on the camera shot.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it was Daz on a slant that hit him right in the hands. He probably had 6 if he catches it, and you could tell after the play that he knew it because he was not happy with himself. I think that was the same possession with the turnover on downs.

Nice play! That's the best answer when you're being interfered with - just catch the ball, and you don't have to wait and see if you get the call. DB had one hand, so he caught it with the other.

Also, nice pressure by true Freshman Casey Sayles on Jovon's interception.

I think we have other Big PLay receivers. Sebastian Smith, and some of the other RS  Freshman. They have not had much of an opportunity to shine yet.
