The family pack section had several empty seats and I am guessing the late start had something to do with it. Whether or not someone (particularly a season ticket holder) comes is their own prerogative. Regardless, two outstanding crowds to start the season. And...that was probably the least amount of Marshall fans I've seen in Peden since their return to the MAC. No more than 3,000 tops I'd say. The year Jim Grobes Ohio team beat Marshall in Athens there were very few Herd fans that made the trip. 1,000 that year would be generous and it was pretty much a slam dunk that Ohio was going to win that game.
