You may be right in terms of the short-term, but long term this is the way you build depth. And when those young guys are seasoned vets we can rotate them out and start all over. In all seriousness, you need more than 11 players to play today's game. Coaches are at practice everyday, they are paid to make these decisions, I have no problem with that. Back to Top L.C. If you leave the starters in all the time, you may play better in the short run, but by the end of the game, they are worn down. Look at this game, and I think Ohio was the stronger team down the stretch. As a result, Ohio was able to overcome the halftime deficit, and was able to do a much better job stopping CMU in the second half.
