Third string QB?

Can anyone tell me anything about the third-string QB who came in at the very end of the CMU game? He seemed to have a very good arm, but in such a brief appearance it was hard to analyze anything else.

JD Sprague, no relation to the late Howard Sprague of the Andy Griffith show.

I don't believe JD is on scholarship right now but expect he will be by the end of the year. I think Jason Arkley had reported he had moved ahead of Windham on the depth chart prior to his (Windham) arrest.
