Newest MAC Stats

Time to give a little thanks.

As the season progresses these begin to have merit.

TT 1st in Pass Efficiency. Congratulations TT. Fine job coaches Albin/Gdowski/Dixon/Lightner.

Cochran, 1st in Avg Yds/Rec. Congratulations Chase. Fine job coach Dixon.

Branz & Basham, 1st & 2nd in Sacks. Congratulations to Branz & Basham. Fine job coaches Burrow & Williams.

Bass, 1st in Passes Defended. Congratulations Mr. Bass. Fine job coaches Burrow & Ward

Carrie, 1st in Punt Return Average. Congratulations Mr. Carrie. Fine job Coach Haines.

Team Rushing Defense, 1st. Congratulations defense coaches and players.

3rd Down Conversions, 1st. Congratulations Offense coaches and players.

Opponent 1st Downs 1st. Congratulations defense coaches and players.

NIU still last in Penalties and Pass Defense.. Would be nice to test that defense with all of the seniors healthy on the OL; Prior, Lechner, Johnson, McGrath and Foster, Mario, Waters, Hill, Cochran (not a sr but worthy of mention), Boykin, Beau. If this group could get healthy, there would be some happy campers around here.

Until last Saturday, I had a really good feeling about us playing probably NIU in the last MAC game of the year with a good result.
