So, should I really make the trip to Athens from Cincy for the Tue game vs Kent?  It's up to you!

Already got my airline tickets or I am not sure I would do it. It could get ugly if they run on us like everyone else has. I see no reason for them not to be able to.

colobabcat66.  I will be interested in your take from the game.  There are those who are accusing the team of quitting, laying down, etc..  That won't get it vs Kent.  They still have some game breakers who will have to be taken seriously.  I hope it is a good trip back to Athens.

Thanks. I'll try not to be too negative if we lose, and I really don't know much about football like most of you guys.

On Monday and Tuesday I'll be in Pennsylvania - doing a book program for Retired Military Officers Assn and visiting SCORE chapters in Latrobe and Uniontown.  I am giving thought to returning to North Canton via Athens.

I see where Coach Solich is "alarmed" by the absence of "enthusiasm" which gives me hope that internal issues are being addressed and, if they are, hopefully effectively.

I live in Chicago, so I probably would not have gone to the Kent game anyway.

Over Thanksgivings I will be back in Ohio and I am planning to go to the U. Mass game.

If the Sh!tcats show up against Kent I will be going pheasant and quail hunting instead.

Assuming they are in season.

My wife has decided that she will probably not come because of the horrible performance in the last two games and her general dislike of these mid-week games in November.  You should have heard her during the BG game.  She practically was throwing things at the TV.

wife has got off her nit fit and will be coming.  She says if we play like we did against BG Normal School she'll leave at half.

16-11 right now...looks like I may be in.  But, OCF, I am with your wife.  If this is a blowout I am gone at halftime so I get home before 230.  Funny thing is I'd feel like a student walking out after the 110 show.

Just home from the ballgame, haha!

Oh, the final count was 20 to go vs 14 no.

I would like to thank the 20 folks who persuaded me to go to that debacle.

I am ....speechless!

there is not much to say that already has not been said during the last 12 hours or so. It became obvious that we were probably not going to win this game when Watters was pulled down from the back. We are dead men walking. Thank God all the bowl game talk is now officially over. There needs to be some intense soul searching during the off season about the future of the program and what must be done to turn this thing around.
I honestly don't know of any more pathetic team in the nation right now. Total chaos, no leadership , breakdowns on every unit, terrible basic football mistakes, absolutely no sense of direction.
I hope that none of our recruits watched the game. If so, they have to be second guessing their commitments because there are serious problems in the program right now for all to see. We have been exposed and it is not pretty.
I have to also seriously wonder about my season tickets next year.

Casper, as one that voted "Yes", I apologize for my vote. I expected something very different.

Obviously true

Well, while Ohio has sucked for 3 games, as least they don't always suck, like some other places...

Yes and no. As fans we see the problems. As incoming players, they see an opportunity.

A recruit would probably figure that all spots are open given the performances last night.

I think there is a hugh difference between seeing an opportunity to play and seeing chaos in a program, chaos means internal problems and/or coaching changes or other negatives. Everybody with any football knowledge can see that there is something seriously wrong at Ohio right now. Do players with choices jump into that rat hole?
