I hope the Football team returns to form next season, and any chemistry issues are taken care of. I honestly feel that this football team is just like the basketball team last year and maybe some fresh blood will be beneficial. I believe the Bobcats will be fairly young next year so with this inexperience, what would be an acceptable season? If the Bobcats are that young I'd take an 8-4 or 7-5 but a competitive 8-4 or 7-5. The real and honest question is if Frank's seat is a little warm next season? Or what would Frank stand with a repeat of this season? I appreciate everything Frank and Co have done and I would hate to see them leave I'm just curious where everybody stands with this coaching staff after a disappointing season.

Next year we should be pretty solid on defense and hopefully the O line.  Backs and receivers next year will be the big question mark.

We will get by.
We will get by.

We will survive.

Will team morale be a concern or issue next year like others have hinted it's been this year?

I think Derrius Vick may give us a sophomore TT performance next year. His arm seems decent and he might even be a better runner than Tettleton was when he actually ran

I realize it's a limited sample and he only played a series here or there, so maybe he didn't have a chance to get into any kind of a groove, but Vick was 18 of 42 passing this year for 177 yards, 0 TDs and 1 INT. He netted 68 yards rushing on 28 carries. I'm afraid we might be yearning for any version of Tettleton next year.

However, what keeps me hopeful that Vick can perform much better next year is the fact that Tettleton was pretty terrible until he was the full-time starter, going 9 of 23 for 128 yards and two INTs as a freshman. What I think really needs to happen for that to be possible is for the offensive line to play much better. I know the line was beat up at times, but I think the offensive line play was the worst its been in several years.

You can't really judge his arm from his stats. He doesn't get the reps with the first team that TT got, he would be on the sideline then have to run in and play without a good warm-up. He was great in his start last year hen he got more of that, and even if it was against an FCS team it was an impressive performance

I see Vick as a little bit in the Jordan Lynch mold (only hope he can be as good) in that he will run much more, and perhaps use the running game to open up the passing game.  I see Vick as a true threat to run each time he touches the ball.  So, when he gives it off to Daz up the middle, Daz is likely to get many more yards than the famous Beau-up-the-middle play netted in 2013.

I'd be happy with 8-4, considering they are young. The defense should be pretty experienced, though still pretty young. The offense, well, I hope the young guys on the offensive line, after a healthy dose of action this year, spend a lot of time in the weight room this winter. I think they can be good, but they are a ways from there now. The rest of the offense there are some good players, too, but not much experience.

I think Vick will be fine, but the thing about him that worries me is that he seems to take some hard hits because of his running style. I hope he can avoid that next year.

It will be a young team, and one that can surprise us in either direction.

Vs. Norfolk State Vick started with; Beau, Foster, Thompson, Hill, Prior, Lechner, Allen, Herman, McGrath and Futrell.  Thompson, Herman, Allen and Futrell brought great senior leadership to the huddle.  The OL was all seniors and juniors. I believe next season's youngsters will eventually be bigger , stronger and a whole lot faster, but, Vick in his fourth year with Gdowski will be counted on for leadership.
