He said Drew Brees should "stop being soft" for selling the hit by Ahmad Brooks by staying on the ground until a flag was thrown. Then he backed off and said Brees wasn't soft. Then he and the rest of the defense got lit up by the Saints.

A Grantland article about the Panthers gave credit for the unseen offseason moves:

It is frustrating when Ohio finally has a guy making some noise in the NFL and when you try to google him. Mike Mitchell Ohio State pops up. UGH!

I still remember him absolutely pasting Todd Boeckman when we almost beat the Buckeyes. Just crushed him.
