226 is a lot of returning starts.

Seems Ohio has moved to the ACC.

Steele's 2014 OL career returning start stat.

Last year Steele reported the OL returned 39 career starts. The cfbmatrix report shows Ohio will return 58 starts on the OL in 2015. Question, could Steele's 39 be career and cfbmatrix's 58 be just returning starts for the previous season?

Yes, that is correct. Steele's numbers are career starts, while cfbmatrix is giving starts from 2014 only. Even then cfbmatrix's numbers aren't correct, and I only looked as far as the offensive line. You see, every player that started a game is back, and that makes 60 total starts:
Powell, Watson - 12 each
McQueen, Lucas, Pruehs - 11 each
Lowery, Gibbons, McCray - 1 each

When I tried to compute total career starts for the offensive line, I came up with 99, which should be an exact match to Steele, who should show 99, which would be the 39 before last year, plus 60 more during 2014. For career starts I get:
Lucas - 24
Powell - 23
McQueen - 19
Watson - 15
Pruehs - 11
Wood - 3
Gibbons - 2
Lowery - 1
McCray - 1

Jumping from 39 to 99 should move Ohio from #104 last year up to #22 or so.
