New beginnings

The new season starts today, and with that the opportunity for new beginnings. So with that, I'm officially done playing the role of Cassandra (with a nod to my Steve Hays avatar) on the football portion of this message board.

Its just not much fun, and sorta ruined last season for me. So its all positivity from here on out for me! (at least as much as I can muster)

Monroe, I suggest you join me. :)

I had a dream last night that we played Penn State again this season. We lost 17-16.

I don't know what that means, but it's almost football season, and that makes me happy. I'm sure by the end of camp I'll be drunk off green Kool-Aid, and if I had the dream again, we'd win 47-12.

BA dreams....wow....Mine last night was running into recruit Marques Grimes at fall practice..,I asked him if he pronounced his name Marqwese or Markese...he didn't respond..just smirked and said so you're the infsmous Doc Bobcat...show me some vids.

I dreamed the other night that we were playing at Wisconsin. I don't know how we did because my seat was so far from the field that I couldn't see the game.

I just really want to start 2-0. That doesn't seem to unreasonable to me and then the green kool-aid can really start flowing.

The article says that it's doubtful that anyone could have seen what was coming. To a certain extent I have to disagree. I'd guess Solich kind of expected it. He was quick to give AJ a scholarship, but even more telling is that when numbers were handed out, rather than giving AJ one of the numbers he requested, Solich insisted that AJ be given Solich's old number. I don't know if that is common, but this is the first time I've ever heard of that happening. That seems like the ultimate compliment to me.

Were you in a wide open lane with the sun shining on your face, looking at nothing in front of you? Or was it bumper to bumper traffic in downtown Akron?

Look for IUTM this year as well as AJUTM. Also IAE and AJAE. Perhaps, even an AJ to I pass. Those two back sets are going to confuse everyone. ;-)
