Sunny and 64 degrees at this time expected for the Kent State Homecoming Game.

I was surprised to see the Flashes put a real hurtin on BallS so that current spot may be a hard one to cover....

I don't think what Kent State brings to the table is too overwhelming, but we do need to prepare and take this team seriously.

Combine that with our issues playing on the road, and yeah, we'll need to make more key adjustments.

I have a predictive system which doesn't have enough data to work yet. However, given what data it has, it has concluded that last weeks game between Kent State and Ball State was between the two worst teams in the FBS. This line is down to three now. I think that, even though we were at home and probably got outplayed on the while, if we can beat Jacksonville State with a bunch of staters out, that we have a good chance to cover three on the road against Kent State with, probably, more players available.

This is far from a certain victory. We have a history of vomiting all over ourselves at Dix Stadium.

Do we have any timetable on Brune?

I think Vezza has looked pretty good, so I'm not as worried about Poulus rushing back, but Vezza's game opens himself up to a ton of hits so it'd be nice to know QB1 was at least dressing.

I get the feeling that we'll run better with Vezza but also turn it over more.

This was 2006, and it had every kind of weather, it seemed. Julian Edelman was the Kent QB. This game did not clinch the East, but it was really pivotal for both teams. We clinched two games later at home against Akron. Landon Cohen, Ernie Hodge and Jameson Hartke lived in the backfield.
