I'm going to be the first guy to say it here:

I want to see us crush Stonehill by 28-35 points, that range at least. If we keep them hanging around in this game for longer than they should, then I'm going to be upset.

No mercy. This is our get-right game.

I think that we most likely will. We won't give up the P4 game where they by a game from us. We will need to buy an FCS game to keep 6 home games. Most likely we'll only play one G6 opponent. We'll have a G6 at home when we have 5 conference away games and a G6 on the road when we have 5 conference home games.

Having witnessed a 31-0 drubbing at the hands of Northeastern, who no longer has a program, in 2002, and, a 28-26 loss to Duquesne in 2021, both at home, I would accept a one point win on Saturday. Would I be excited by it? No, but it would be much more satisfying than those two outcomes were.

How about the 70-point loss to BGSU, with the BG fans chanting "O...U...gotta be kidding!"

5-0 loss to Utah State

Inexplicable loss to a bad KSU team which eliminated our shot at the MACC

I could go on.

I'd put last year's loss at Ball St up with the best (or worst?) of them.

Since we are playing CMU for homecoming, I'll nominate the homecoming game we had won against the Chips until we muffed a punt in the waning minutes of the game and, thereby, "clutched defeat from the jaws of victory."

[Not sure who coined that phrase, but I first heard it used by the late, great Joe Tate, referring to his beloved alma mater, the Monmouth College Scots.]

Appy State and Western Michigan would have nothing on OHIO had another muffed punt not occurred in the 'Shoe.......

We were close to a 4 TD favorite in that game as well. If I recall it was the biggest upset of the year by spread.

Back then, we would go to games for the band, maybe to see a star opposing player (Big Ben, Byron Leftwich, etc...), or just to see if the cheer squad could throw one of those little white footballs out of Peden (they often tried). Not many other quality reasons for attendance in that dark era.

2009 Washington over USC - Sept. 19
2014 Arizona over Oregon - Oct. 2
2021 Jacksonville State over Florida State (spread 27) Sept. 11
2022 Marshall over Notre Dame - Sept. 10

I like your list, but would add:

2005: Ohio defeated Pittsburgh, 16–10 in overtime, in Athens.
2012: Ohio defeated Penn State, 24–14, in Happy Valley.
