They are a 6.5-7 point road dog at North Dakota St.

Getting slapped around pretty hard. 27-7 in the 3rd.

ND State hasn�t beaten an FBS team in a couple years so no clue how good this team really is, but J State doesn�t look like a tough game.

This doesnt mean Jax State isn't a good team. I expect a tough game at Peden.

I wouldn't count out Jax State giving us a game in Athens. Them getting crushed by North Dakota State may wake them up a bit.

They got drilled by the portal like they do every year. They notoriously start slow because of this and get better once they get into conference play.

I think NSDU is going to end up near the top of any G6 rankings and would be near the top right now. I think with the FBS move exposure this might be their best team in a while.

I just have a feeling that SDSU might be a football only member of the MAC next year. I know of no actual rumors there. I just know that they suddenly want in the FBS pretty badly now that NDSU is. It might not cost then as much to convince the MAC as it did with Sac St. since they are not as far away and scheduling with 13 is just incredibly more difficult than 12 or 14. I think the Hornets are on a 5 year deal. I just feel like a four year deal with the Jackrabbits seems sensible enough to be something plausible. If they are, then they would be a MAC contender immediately.

NDSU is in the MWC. They probably won't be in the MAC. I suspect that 2026 NDSU would win the MAC and could very easily win the MWC. My pondering is if since SDSU desperately wants in the FBS now that NDSU is, that they might be pressing the MAC and the MAC needs an even number for easier scheduling.
