CLEVELAND— The Ohio football program released its 2026 regular season schedule today (March 24) in conjunction with the Mid-American Conference office.

The Bobcats' 12-game slate features six games at Frank Solich Field at Peden Stadium, including four Saturdays. With first-year head coach John Hauser at the helm, Ohio is looking to continue its winning streak in Athens. The 13-game streak, which dates back to the 2023 season, is the Bobcats' longest home-game winning streak in program history.

2026 Family Weekend includes Ohio's non-conference matchup against Stonehill (Sept. 26). The Bobcats' 2026 Homecoming game is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10, against Central Michigan.

Television platforms, along with game times, will be announced at a later date.

2026 OHIO FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

Saturday, Sept. 5: at Nebraska (Memorial Stadium)
Notable: This matchup marks the Bobcats and Cornhuskers' first time meeting. Nebraska posted a 7-6 record in 2025, finishing the season 4-5 against Big Ten opponents.

Saturday, Sept. 12: vs. Jacksonville State (Frank Solich Field at Peden Stadium)
Notable: The Bobcats are currently 1-0 against the Gamecocks. The teams last crossed paths on Dec. 20, 2024, in Orlando, Fla., at the StaffDNA Cure Bowl. With a 30-27 victory, Ohio clinched its first 11-win season and the program's sixth-straight bowl victory, becoming the first Mid-American Conference program to win six-straight bowl games. The game can also be remembered by multiple individual milestones as well: wide receiver Coleman Owen became the Bobcats' all-time single-season receiving yards leader and quarterback Parker Navarro became the first quarterback in program history to record over 2,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards in the same season.

Saturday, Sept. 19: at South Alabama (Hancock Whitney Stadium)
Notable: This matchup marks the second time Ohio and South Alabama have met. The Bobcats and the Jaguars last faced off on Sept. 7, 2024, at Frank Solich Field at Peden Stadium; with a 27-20 victory, Ohio snagged its 600th program win.

Saturday, Sept. 26: vs. Stonehill (Frank Solich Field at Peden Stadium)
Notable: This matchup marks the Bobcats and the Skyhawks' first time meeting. Stonehill finished the 2025 season 4-8 overall, claiming three of those victories over Northeast Conference foes.

Saturday, Oct. 3: at Kent State (Dix Stadium)
Notable: The Bobcats have faced the Golden Flashes 76 times, posting a 47-27-2 series record since 1936. The teams last met on Nov. 6, 2024; Ohio opened "midweek MACtion" with a bang, clinching bowl eligibility with a 41-0 shutout. The Bobcats' special teams unit was responsible for multiple touchdowns for the first time since 2008, scoring twice.

Saturday, Oct. 17: at Sacramento State (Hornet Stadium)
Notable: This matchup not only marks the Bobcats and Hornets' first time meeting, but also the Hornets' inaugural season as an FBS program and MAC affiliate member. Sacramento State finished the 2025 season 7-5 overall, posting a 5-3 record against Big Sky opponents.

Saturday, Oct. 24: vs. Eastern Michigan (Frank Solich Field at Peden Stadium)

The game can be remembered by Ohio's strong offensive performance, with quarterback Parker Navarro passing for over 300 yards for the first time, ending the game with a career-high 315 yards in the air. Wide receivers Rodney Harris and Chase Hendricks both logged 100-plus receiving yards apiece, marking Harris' first time breaking the 100-yard mark and Hendricks' sixth 100-plus yard game of the season.

Tuesday, Nov. 10: at Miami (Ohio) (Yager Stadium)
Notable: The Bobcats and the RedHawks have met 102 times since 1908, posting a 44-56-2 series record. Ohio hosted the last Battle of the Bricks on Nov. 4, 2025, kicking off "midweek MACtion" with an exciting 24-20 victory over its rival. This win not only secured Ohio's bowl eligibility, but also the team's 12th consecutive home victory – the longest such streak in program history.

Notable: This matchup marks the Bobcats and the Cardinals' 30th time meeting since 1975, with the series record currently sitting at 13-16. The two teams last clashed on Oct. 4, 2025, in Muncie, Ind. In a game that came down to the final play, Ohio lost 20-14.

Nebraska Game:

Best way to get tickets is through the Ohio allotment, which will be out in the summer.

Similar to other P5 games there is about a month or two for visitors to get tickets order through their school allotment, as Ohio would need to return non sold tickets back to the host school to sell.

The Huskers have sold out every home game since 1962, but tickets are usually available on the resale marketplace of Seat Geek (official resale site) and Ticketmaster.

The visitor section at Nebraska is lower part of section 19, this is the team block. The next section is the upper part of section 20 and 21. The overflow is the upper corner of sections on 40 and 41.

The Huskers have usually opened with a home night at 6pm CT start over the past few years which has included a 3Qt drone show.

Many Hotel have a game days rate which includes a flat rate which includes (Fri arrival and leave Sunday morning), I would highly recommend booking your hotel sooner than later. Downtown hotels Graduate Lincoln (this is the visitor hotel if they stay in Lincoln), Embassy Suites, this is a large hotel and is one of the pregame hub on game days. There is a few hotels in south Lincoln away from the downtown area or many people stay in Omaha and drive down on game day. There is a second Embassy Suites on I80 leaving Omaha that serves as the visitors hotel if teams don’t want to stay in Lincoln).

Memorial Stadium is a no reentry venue and a card only venue.
