Interesting story. I'm still a little puzzled about why he left RI for Ohio. From this story, it seems he'd settled in and liked Rhode Island. I'm also puzzled about his medical issues. It appears that the surgery was successful and that he was cleared medically to play last year, but didn't see much action at all. Longer rehab than anticipated? If he's healthy, I think he'll be a major factor for Ohio this coming season. And, I can't imagine we recruited him if he wasn't healthy. He's one big question mark to me.

He might just not be an A10 player. I think the MAC is a good landing spot for him to bounce back. There also might be some comfort in knowing almost half the roster isn’t from the states.

If he’s healthy and does play a major factor, I can see him being one and done. We all know how coveted productive size is. Hopefully that means we’ve had a very successful season and made the NCAA as a byproduct.

Speaking of which, I remember 7-1 Whitehall Yearling H.S. player Martin Nessley experiencing uptown before he signed with Duke. Nessley's h.s. teammate Scott Tedder, by the way, later visited the Convo for Ohio Wesleyan when the Bishops defeated OUr Bobcats.

Just saying, Jason Terry played with Gary Trent, who could probably jump higher, but Jason was a legit 7-2.  I think there may have been one other in my OHIO Bobcat fan career, which started a few years before yours, but I can't remember the name at the moment.  Perhaps, Jason was the only one.  I'm sure SBH knows the answer, or if not, he can make up a good story! smiley  And, Jason taught at Alexander High School for a number of years after his Bobcat career, so he walked the streets of Athens for a number of years.
