I don't know about other schools but BC has a legit excuse.
BC over schedule in anticipation of early season weather issues. They scheduled 58 games this year. Only one was rained out. To stay within 56 games they had to cancel the UMass-Lowell game. They've played 53 and have three scheduled this weekend with Georgia Tech.

They're 36-17, 17-10 in ACC. They don't need to dodge UMass-Lowell to get into the NCAA's. They already beat them 12-2 this year.

Michigan (RPI #36) cancelled with us (#291) and Dayton (#200) and instead picked up Kent St (#54) and Miami (#43). What is funny is that they lost them both, but I guess losing to a team with a good RPI is better than beating a team with a bad RPI. Dumb.

For the record we are RPI 291 out of 308. Mostly SWAC and NEC behind us.

Did they have a game schedule vs Ohio?

This says Dayton and Xavier

Yes on the original season schedule we were scheduled to play at Ann Arbor this past Tuesday. They switched to at Kent just a couple weeks ago. Definitely seems like the exact scenario the NCAA is attacking here.
