According to the DHC website, the 5th place game could be at either 1:30 or 4 ET on Thursday (that's 8:30 a.m. or 11 a.m. Hawaii time), probably depending on how big of a rating ESPN thinks the 7th and 5th place matchups would get. http://espnevents.com/diamond-head-classic/news-and-updat.../

Either time slot is scheduled for ESPNU or ESPN3, but the ESPN website shows ESPNU having a rerun of the Bahamas Bowl Thursday at 1:00, which means the 1:30 game would only be on ESPN3. I'd really hate for us to get the 1:30 game. I know that the Ohio website says 4:00 but maybe that hasn't been decided yet; my Directv guide says the 7th place game will go at 4:00. It would really suck if the game to determine a higher finish winds up on only on the Internet. Especially since ESPN2 has throw-away programming all day until 6:30.

ESPNU's TV Listings for 4 PM tomorrow show "Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic - Ohio University VS. Nebraska"

The watch ESPN schedule for tomorrow also shows DePaul vs. Loyola at 1:30 (ESPN3 only) and Ohio vs. Nebraska on ESPNU at 4:30.

My guess is they listed the two start times so if Hawaii was in the 7th place game, the host team wouldn't get the 8:30 AM time slot. I'd much rather watch live basketball vs a reply of a bowl game, but I can understand if they had trouble getting staffing that early on Christmas morning.

Directv has also made the change. But If Neb had lost last night we likely would've been the 1:00 game. ESPN'll take a Tenfinity-Big East matchup on the U anytime.

Anyway, I'm glad we're on the U. We got a new LED TV for Christmas and I can't wait to see an Ohio uniform on it.
