I estimate the spread for this game to be 15-18.

Me and my family plus my sister and her family are leaving Newark at 9 am.  We have been counting down since our tickets were bought.

This might be a good matchup for the Bobcats. It doesn't appear that the Pilots have much experience at PG and will use a bunch of guys there.  Could be a recipe for a lot of turnovers.  Looks like most of their returning scoring is going to come from the front court.

Very excited about the upcoming basketball season. Even more so because there is no play in basketball known as "the punt"

Awesome.

We should win this game by 20+ points I would think.  Excited to see a rockin' roundhouse.

This got me thinking, what is a bad matchup for this team?

Dominant opposing bigs that have a size advantage over our bigs?  A la Zeller?

I've seen crazier things happen.

Is this game actually sold out yet? I'm wondering what my chances are of driving over from Cincy and getting a ticket or two. I really never thought about going until just now.

Any team with size as our guards aren't particularly tall either. But the good thing is, they've shown they can still beat teams with size.

I also think uber athletic teams such as Memphis will give them problems. But Memphis is apparently crumbling internally before the season ever starts.

I was told 800 tics left at the FBall game last night from the folks selling them at a table near the main entrance to Peden.

I think you should be OK to get one day of game. They typically hold some back for gameday...believe that was the case for Miami.

My guess is that despite the big crowd, the noise level will not be that great tomorrow.  Remember, it's Dad's Weekend and it's usually not a raucous crowd.

Ozone, step up and make it loud and raucous!!  Make Portland sorry they walked in the Convo!

I suspect you'll be able to get one. But I definitely would come very early to assure that, and to avoid the likely chaos that the staff is never ready to handle.

Plus I'd expect there to be a lot of people getting there early to ensure they get one of the 3000 glasses.

I got a voucher with my season tix for a glass. Are you saying only the first 3,000 in the doors get a glass? Or does my voucher guarantee one?

It could get pretty quite if we get up too much too quick. If that does happen, I hope JC lets the bench play for stretches to keep the interest level up. The 110 at halftime will keep the energy up or rejuvinate it if needed. Then, at the end if we can absolutely bury them, then do it..................

Dad's weekend this early? That's odd right?
