To be honest he wasn't going to get the Ohio job out of the gate when Schaus left. Now that he has gone 2/2 on basketball hires, he is definitely an intriguing candidate for moving up. That said, given what has been mentioned above, his choices for jobs is going to be I believe limited, due to what High Point currently offers and the set-up of the school. In addition, many private schools are not in a great place right now so moving to one of those types of schools is not in the cards for folks either. While they are not in Akron's league when it comes financial instability, they do have a tremendous amount of debt. At one point the bonds they issued for campus improvements were downgraded by Moody's to junk level. On the positive side, their president has donated over $10 million to the school.
