2026 Transfer Portal Prospects

That time of the year to see who the staff starts to follow in the portal for speculation on who we might be targeting.

Recent portal additions followed by Boals —

Davion Hill of Ball State
Tameron Ferguson of Augustana (D2). Averaged 20ppg and shot 36% from 3 this past season. Has already heard from a lot of mid-majors including Akron and Buffalo.

Adding these two via Kyle Barlow —

Jalen Langsy from Northwestern College (NAIA). Scoring machine this season with 27ppg and 22ppg career average. Just small at 6’1.

Langsy is intriguing. Assuming Simmons (and staff) does return, surrounding him with shooters at all heights for spacing should be the priority.

Adding Boals follow — Sean Registr Jr. from East Florida State JUCO. 6’7 and from Cleveland. Like Langsy, a scoring machine at his level averaging 25ppg, shooting 66% overall and 40% from 3 off 69 attempts.

Like Langsy, also intriguing based off the shooting and scoring numbers — even more so with the size.

We’re on a long list of schools to have reached out to Jaquay Randolph of Southern Wesleyan (D2)

6’10 and averaged 21ppg and 15rpg.

Early theme of portal targets appears to be high producing lower level players.
