I was there in St. Louis. One missed free throw away from the Elite 8. One Coop half-court prayer a few inches to the left from the Elite 8.

Even with how far the program has fallen the last two years in so many areas, this video reminds me that nothing is impossible when it comes to Ohio basketball.

Do you believe in March miracles?

I believe our season ends around 8:50 PM eastern time tonight, but I will still root hard for a Bobcat March miracle.

I think the 09/10 team was more of a March Miracle with its unexpected MAC title run and then absolutely destroying Georgetown.

I interned in the athletic department for 11/12. Anyone who paid attention to that season's team knew it was special. It just validated that by nearly making the Elite 8. I expected to beat Michigan in the opening round game.

This year's team has special players in Pavs and Simmons, I'm just not sure there's enough beyond those two for the season to extend after tonight.

The 2026 team would definitely draw inspiration more from the 2010 team than the 2012 team. That was truly catching fire at the end, completely unexpected.

We can beat anyone in the MAC. Pulling it off 3 days in a row feels daunting, but taking it one day at a time I am just hoping we are playing tomorrow.

YEP.

If Miami is this elite 8 bound, all-world team... we took them to OT, scored 100+ and should've won a few days ago. Bring that same energy, same intensity and go make some noise.

Jack and Simmons are playing at a different level right now. Will the rest of the team forward and lets go on a little run, eh??

With the Miami loss, the most likely path for us is:

Kent
Akron
Toledo

So this would actually be a miracle. Based on Boals' career record against those three teams, we have a 1.4% chance of winning three games in a row against those teams.
