I've seen Tang brought up on other topics as a potential successor if OU parts ways with Boals this year. Well, he's officially in the job market.....

I'm good on Tang. He had a magical Elite 8 Run a few years back. He's below .500 since and is 1-11 in conference play this season.

Like I said in the other thread, other than his buyout being the only impressive thing about him, he's spent 33 of the last 37 years coaching in Texas. As a head coach his conference record is 29-39.

Not even sure why his name got brought up, other than he was fired from a P5 job, but his record and history isn't all that impressive. He was extremely loyal to Baylor, I guess. That's nice.
