I haven't upgraded my subscription with Matt Brown's newsletter, but if anyone is interested in finding out how difficult it is to complete a basketball schedule this might worth the price of admission. Matt does great work going behind the scenes on all things college athletics to see how it gets done.

I think he stole this quote directly from BobcatAttack:

"Every year, right through September — and sometimes into October — fans, donors, season ticketholders and even internal staff grumble: Why isn’t our schedule done? Why can’t we get [insert team here]? This school already has its schedule out!"
