Does anyone know the non-conference games we have in future years? I read an article in the Plain Dealer and it was dogging our schedule in the next 4 years, but I swear I thought we were playing some decent games. PSU, UK, and others?

Go here and in the upper right you can select the year and see the schedule.  Pretty cool.

The Plain Dealer never seems to miss any opportunity to slam Ohio University.

And, while we are playing a money game each year (OSU, Penn State, Lousivlle, Kentucky, etc) and  like the series with Marshall, the other 2 non conference games each year are underwhelming.

Can somebody hit a pull up jumper for me?.....

One place to look is Bobcatattack.com. I've heard they've had their stuff together for a while now.

As far as the schedule goes, depending on who you talk to (and not to open a can of worms), the schedule is justifibly crticized. Yes, we have nice road games to Rutgers (2011), Penn State (2012), Louisville (2013), Kentucky (2014), and Minnesota (2015). However, our home slate is essentially FCS, Marshall, or the occasional low-level FBS ala New Mexico State and North Texas. We all know that schedules change, but so far, our schedules look to be weak compared to some other MAC teams, especially home games.

I like our schedules because we have a legit chance to go to a bowl every year. Ohio has had a long history of losing football and just recently reached a bowl game for the first time since 1968. By building a winning tradition of contenting for a bowl spot we grow the program into one were we can recruit better and retain top coaches.  Miami pretty much is elimated from the post season with its schedule. Until Ohio puts up a 10 win season and we becomes a contender for a BCS bowl then we can worry what the media thinks about our scgedule. Those that think we play a soft schedule need to be reminded that we haven't had a 10 win season in 42 years.  I'll take a 10-2 record against a soft schedule. That would put us very likely in the MAC title game and to a bowl.  That would be a successfull season. Just win against the schedules we have and we will be fine.  We will never be BCS program.  Too small of a fan base.  Become a solid winner and  win MAC titles is a realistic goal.  Boise State and TCU are completely different programs than Ohio.  Even they have taken years to get this far where they are preseason top 10. We need to win the MAC first then do it on a consistent basis.

Yep, 5 FBS wins plus 1 FCS win is what you should strive for every year. Pure, Un-Adulterated Mediocrity. Congratulations.
