I can see us easily finishing better, but don't want to overhype us only to face a let down. I think we should finish off sweeping the MAC West. Then it all comes down to the brackbuster game and the east. I think we'll finish anywhere from 24 to 25 wins with us losing a few games down the stretch. Will 24-7 get us in if we don't win the regular season chip or the tourney? I asuume we are already a lock for either the CBI ot CIT?? Back to Top Andrew Ruck General User Member Since: 12/22/2004 Location: Columbus, OH Post Count: 5,233 Status: Offline     RE: Predict Our Record Heading Into the MAC Tournament    Posted: 1/30/2012 1:03:39 PM  It is crazy how you could argue our 4 toughest (maybe even 5 depending on the BB opponent) wrap up our season.  I could really see something close to the next 5 straight wins (making it 9 straight total) then 5 straight losses putting us on suicide watch come Tourney time.  I believe I predicted something close to this in the original prediction thread, so I will stick with it.  Without pinpointing the exact games, I see 4-1 over the next 5 and 1-4 over the final 5.  I am hoping the unimpressive victories of late are just a result of our lock down defense gutting it out despite poor shooting that will improve, but this team has been far from dominant since Christmas. It certainly is a tough stretch to end the year however. That would mean someone is in the gym with a shooting gun doing extra work outs or a coach is breaking down shot mechanics if I read this right.....oh yeah , we also must be emphasizing northand south movement vs the current tendency to pass the ball east and west against the zone. Both those things are zone breakers. fixing a shot does not mean getting up 250 or 500 shots a day .....it means getting up 100 good ones with the right mechanics. never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
