ATHENS – Aidan Hadaway had a 27-point, 10-rebound double-double to lead Ohio to a 91-80 victory against Buffalo on Saturday at The Convo.
Jackson Paveletzke added 23 points, eight assists and six rebounds as the Bobcats (10-7, 4-1 Mid-American Conference) won their fifth straight and their ninth in the last 10 games.
Angelo Brizzi had 18 points, Ryan Sabol 17 points and Daniel Freitag 16 points as the Bulls (13-3, 3-1 MAC) lost their first conference game.

ATHENS – Javan Simmons had a season-high 20 points to reach 1,000 in his career and help Ohio hold off UMass 86-83 on Tuesday night at The Convo.
Jackson Paveletzke had a double-double of 10 points and 10 assists. He knocked down the go-ahead free throws with 59 seconds left. UMass’ Isaiah Placide missed a 3-point attempt to try to tie it at the buzzer.
The Bobcats (9-7, 3-1 Mid-American Conference) had balance with seven players scoring seven or more points. The same was true of the Minutemen, who were led by Daniel Hankins-Sanford with 16 points.

CLEVELAND – Jackson Paveletzke scored 25 points to help push Ohio to an 88-83 victory against St. Bonaventure as part of the Cleveland Hoops Showdown on Saturday at Rocket Arena.
Javan Simmons added 17 points, while JJ Kelly and Aidan Hadaway added 14 points each as the Bobcats (4-5) extended their winning streak to three games with their best victory of the season.
The Bonnies (10-2) previously had only lost to North Carolina. Frank Mitchell had 27 points and 14 rebounds – nine of them on the offensive end. Dasonte Bowen added 15 points.
