Don't be a nancy. Sack up and make some predictions.

BOLD player prediction: Jay Preston will finish top 10 in the country in Assist/Turnover ratio.
BOLD team prediction: Top 8 in the MAC regular season standings and advances to the tournament semifinals.
BOLD MAC prediction: Brad Whitford, Steve Hawkins, and Rob Murphy are canned at season's end.
BOLD national prediction: Memphis flames out hard and finishes nowhere near an at-large bid.

Bobcats are the surprise team of the season and contend for the MAC regular season championship.

Disagree with your Groce assessment Dink’s. Akron is in such financial straights that they are lucky they can pay Groce to coach let alone pay him not to coach. I think Akron and Groce are stuck with each other for the foreseeable future.

Until, the state makes Akron the urban campus of KSU, and they drop all athletics.

BOLD player prediction: Ben Roderick will be MAC Freshman of the Year
BOLD team prediction: 9-9 record in the MAC
BOLD MAC prediction: Jayvon Graves is MAC Player of the Year
BOLD national prediction: I agree with Memphis. What joke with an unproven coach and a bunch of one-and-dones. No NCAA Tourney for the Tigers.

When they win a ton of games, you'll probably eat those words on Memphis. Though I don't like them at all, they have soooo much talent. But, it is a bold prediction thread, so that's worth considering I guess.

BOLD player prediction: Roderick and Price are MAC all freshman. One of them is All-MAC in some fashion - 1st, 2nd or 3rd team.

BOLD team prediction: Ohio makes it to the Semifinals in Cleveland behind hot shooting Jordan Dartis

BOLD MAC prediction: BG wins the MAC Tournament

BOLD national prediction: John Brannen and UC better their record and results from last season and end up in the Sweet 16. The State of Ohio ends up with FOUR teams in the NCAA Tournament, two of them make it to the second weekend.
