I'm heading over to Boise, ID this weekend to check out the Broncos take on Wyoming. Hoping for a good game and looking forward to checking another stadium off my bucket list. Hoping any Bobcat fans who went out there for Potato Bowls past can provide some good info on food/drink or anything else unique about the area worth mentioning.

Boise was probably our favorite bowl trip. We took an afternoon to drive up North into the National Forest. Beautiful drive and found some Hot Springs along the road to enjoy.

We rented some snowmobiles up near McCall, but probably too early in the season yet. But it is a recreational area and probably do atv rentals. There was a remote hot spring up there you could only get to by snowmobiling in winter.

We did some Bourbon hunting. Found some Blantons and Eagle Rare. But I hear they are now harder to find out there now. You can search their store inventory online, but looks like they’ve taken down allocated bourbons now.

Ii know for food we wandered downtown. It was a nice downtown with quite a few options in walking distance. The only restaurant that stood out was The Reef, which had a Tiki bar feel. We ate there twice. There was some nightlife in that area where The Reef was located but the only place we went for drinks was a nearby Whiskey/Saloon. It had a great western saloon vibe and nice selection of whiskey, but don’t remember

If you're into breweries they have quite a few downtown. Barbarian, Boise Brewing, 10 Barrel, Prost, Bitter Creek. Base Camp has an arcade, ping pong, axe throwing bunch of stuff basically right on campus walkable to the stadium. There's also this little locals-only establishment called Chili's.
