Is our d for real? Is the offense' best yet to come?

I think these answers are both mostly yes but we still haven't shown enough to justify this pick, IMHO

I agree, I don't know what the thought process is. Do they think that Peden is worth a few points? That's the only logical reasoning I can come up with. Maybe they think Rourke is going to go off?

The reasoning is that neither team has shown any offense thus far and both have shown well on D. Lower scoring game garners a closer line.

They say that a team improves the most between weeks one and two. Last week was basically week one for Roarke, Wigs and Jones. Looking for all three to sharpen their game this week.

Would like to see some scoring from our D or special teams this week. We're about due for a pick-six or a return TD to take some of the load off the offense.

We will get by.
We will get by.
We will get by.
We will survive.

Yeah, that would be nice to get a score outside of the offense. I think we will need a few big plays like that to win.

I think those are fair points-looks like but wait and see.

We played three games but Ohio's defense faced really one solid balanced offensive attack in FAU and a physical run game at San Diego State. Last week's dominance against FAU was a good sign but it is only one game. Any slight glimmer of luster in dominating LIU defensively was short lived as LIU lost last week to Bryant scoring only 10 points. For context, Bryant lost to UNLV in week one of this year 44-10.

Offensively, I would agree. Kurtis will probably get more slack to throw than Harris but the offense has run the ball 90 times in the past two weeks with 45 passes. I think Albin and company may have realized in the San Diego State loss that we passed too much, especially with Harris, and we can win grind out games.

That being said, Rourke did take a few deep shots last week but was off the mark which I wouldnt expect to continue.

Does anyone know if it is possible to access the elevators from the lower level concourse (just above playing field) after entering the stadium? We formerly entered the tower directly until the Sook Center came along and now we enter next to it. We would then walk the concourse and go to the tower by walking the stairs of the stands. Today walking the stairs is not an option. Thanks for any help.

Does anyone know the status of our nickel defender for this week? I guess we are about to find out but I dont recall any official word on Adonis Williams Jr. who was carted off against LIU and Jeremiah Wood was shaken up late last week and by the time ESPN came back from timeout he was already off the field.

Seems like we are the better team by a hair. Won't matter if the scoreboard doesn't reflect it.

You know what, props to the refs for correcting 2 of their previous calls. At least they're doing a great job right now.

I’m just fine getting into a rock fight with their punchless offense. Ohio’s defensive front is dominating the LOS.

Looks like Rourke still working of some of the rust. Looking for him to get to pre-injury form.

The reason the line is so close is because Vegas correctly thinks Ohio is almost as good as Iowa St. In my opinion Ohio is the better team. No clue why it’s so hard for this message board to understand that this Ohio team is dangerous. The only thing i’ll give you is that I do worry about Rourke being healthy, but again this team is loaded.

Either D is getting tired, or ISU has found the weakness. Now if we can just control the kick and get a first down or two. No turnovers wanted.

That field goal was good. Missed call. We have to make those points count.

Damn, here we go again with Albin being too predictable, rush up the middle for no gain.
