Nice win but we sure made it a lot more interesting than it should’ve been. Stopped pressuring the quarterback in the second half. Offense made two big mistakes. The fumble and the interception. I think both were inside the 20

Things got a bit messy in the second half, but a win is a win and what a way to close out the season! Hopefully an 11-3 season with a conference championship and a bowl win will put us on the front foot for next year.

Once bowl games are over, if I'm energetic enough, I wanna go thru the stats and see how many FBS teams have won 31 or more games last three years. I'll put the over/under number at 7.5. Actually, the more I think about it, that's too low. Number should 14.5.

Maybe more importantly, of the teams that have, how many were not P5 conference teams?

I told my son that Ricky Hunt's 2nd-and-6, 30-yd run, his only play of the game up to that point, was the play of the game. I changed my mind a few plays later when Tyus took a short Navarro pass and rambled for a 13-yd gain on 3rd and 9.

Both are worthy as Ohio was attempting to keep possession and run out the clock with a 3-point lead.

On the first drive of the 2nd half, Tyus slips on a 2nd down run (he slipped in the 1st quarter too). Probably gets the first down if he doesn't cut back and that drive is alive. Instead, it leads to a 13-yard punt and a 27-14 score.

The big plays kept them in it but had faith the boys would get the needed first downs at the end. Hunt hopefully doesn't run into the portal now.

Ricky Hunt loves to play in bowl games!!!

Someone forgot to give Jax State the memo that Hunt scored 5 TDs at last year’s bowl game when everyone thought he was just some scared little rookie that would easily cough up the ball over to them. ;)

He pretty much won the game for Ohio with that run. Cut that kid a little NIL love and keep him wearing green!!

Ohio had one chance to put it away, and Tyus fumbled. Ohio had a second chance to put it away, and Navarro threw a pic. Ohio had a third chance to put it away, and a pass from Navarro to Tyus was the end.

The good trumps the bad, and Ohio seals another bowl win, extending their streak.

That literally may have won the game. Unbelievable effort from him and the OL. A D2 kid bulldozing all season.

On top of the MAC title and the most wins in program history, I think we should also be able to claim the C-USA title after this one. Add it to the trophy case and hang a banner like UCF’s national champion one.

MAC>C-USA

3 different coaches too 🔥

Keep the machine rolling. Maybe the ACC offers us in 2030. They like hippy, smart schools. 🤣

What a rollercoaster that second half turned out to be.

Fitting to end this storybook season with a bowl game W! Can't thank these players and staff enough.

The greatest team in OHIO history!

What a day at the Convo.....Wow!

Although it was division II and 65 years ago, the 1960 team was pretty special too. It was undefeated.

It’s was a College Division, no such thing as DII then.

Hunt's run with 3 minutes left was so clutch. Next man up mentality.

It will never understand why the University doesn't prop this up more... or really at all! There should be some sort of banner in the stadium at least! I would have to think about 90% of the students/fans don't even know it happened!

There is a single photo hung in a corner of the Convocation Center.
