I'm assuming, if a team does not offer him a 2-way contract, he could go overseas and make a fine living if he chooses to do so.

Could make a case for many of those teams.

Will be interesting to see who picks him up for camp.

A lot can happen between now and the start of the season. Still think he could carve out a good back-up role with Cleveland, while Rubio is out. Could shift DG and DM over to 2 when they need breaks, and work as a distributor.

the curse of extending him until october (so that he could have possibly been part of a trade) is that rosters have been filled in — often overfilled. summer league is over and camps are beginning. unless we hear something in the next few days i’m guessing he either signs in his own with a g league team (not all g leaguers have nba team contracts) or heads overseas. I’m guessing the former. you
