He was at Lackawanna College last year. Lead the team in total tackles.

They are in Hocking College’s conference. Decent JUCO for this part of the country, which isn’t actually JUCO territory (that’s not in anyway a testament of the young man’s abilities).

What’s amazing to me is that we are making it seems like dozens of offers for 2026, 2027 and 2028 high schoolers while nothing is happening (on twitter at least) regarding our 2025 offensive needs. I’d like to see some action on that. Maybe we’ll see it in the spring I guess.

Not portal info... but I'm not sure if everyone has heard about a pretty exciting signing we just had...

HYPE GRAND. 5'11" 3* QB out of California.

Offers from Colorado, Kansas, Liberty, Syracuse, San Jose State, Memphis, San Diego State, Texas A&M, Toledo, Wake, etc

Not many people are turning down Deion Sanders these days. He had a ton of solid offers despite not playing his senior year, if he was 6'1" and played his senior year he'd probably be at a power program.

He probably saw what Parker was able to do and jumped at the chance to start as a RS Freshman.

This is an exciting commit, but he didn’t turn down any Colorado offer. That offer was in 2022! and with all his other FBS offers are either 2022 or 2023 offers. He had 1 other offer in 2024-Montana. So with his not playing in 2024 for whatever reason, we were his only -recent- FBS offer. Let’s pray he is able to play like he did in 2022 and 2023.

A little context for why the offers were primarily in 2021-2023. He was ineligible in 2024 because of some multi-transfer ruling. Either way, I think we got a steal big time with him coming to Athens.

They didn't pull his offers, those all still stand.

More didn't come in because he was ruled ineligible for transferring. So he had to sit. California has pretty strict rules that are hilarious in hindsight of whats happening currently in CFB.

*edit*
Thanks Rufus. My mind blanked right over your post.

I can't speak on hypotheticals. I can only go off of what ESPN, 247 Recruiting, ON3 and every other recruiting website provides.

Do you think power schools don’t need backups or something? You’re a moron if you don’t think a kid like this isn’t better off coming here than going to Colorado and sitting behind 4-5 stars and Kaidon Salter. If he’s worth the offers and rating he has in a couple of years he’ll be Kaidon Salter.

I have no idea if his other offers were pulled or not, but in the era of the transfer portal we have more to offer this kid right now than Deion Sanders does.

Again, what on earth are you babbling about? Go outside and touch some grass.

You win the award for fastest goofball to denigrate a recruit before the ink dries.

Exactly. It's more than fair to be excited about this kid. Many great programs wanted him - and he's in Athens. Full stop.

What use is tracking down when an offer might have been pulled? lol Silliest shit I've seen in a long, long time.

Will let this rest, but above you say not many people are turning down Deion these days -doesn’t compute to me if guys don’t want to ride the bench. And yes I do realize even power schools need backups

They didn't pull his offers, those all still stand.

More didn't come in because he was ruled ineligible for transferring. So he had to sit. California has pretty strict rules that are hilarious in hindsight of whats happening currently in CFB.

Thanks Rufus. My mind blanked right over your post.

And you know that how?

On one hand we have your constant drivel, on the other we have every recruiting service in which to take a little look see.

Sure, you think that offers from 2022 still stand-okay.

I can't speak on hypotheticals. I can only go off of what ESPN, 247 Recruiting, ON3 and every other recruiting website provides.

And you’re sure that they always/usually show when offers are pulled? That’s pretty funny. So we outrecruited Sanders-go on believing that, you’re delusional.

Will let this rest, but above you say not many people are turning down Deion these days -doesn’t compute to me if guys don’t want to ride the bench. And yes I do realize even power schools need backups

Where exactly am “I” saying that?

Something I love about On3. They show average NIL value. Ours is up there with smaller P4 football programs. Highest in the MAC by $10k.

Not what some on here thought. Weren't there posts saying thet we were not even keeping pace with our MAC counterparts? I kind of believed these posts. Apparently not everything you read on the internet, and even on BA, turns out to be true. Who knew?

Gonna need some help on the D-Line.

Cam Rice in the portal. No surprise here, he was posting his game film back in December but never announced anything. Reminds me a lot of Doggette, one and done.

Brutal late loss in a position of need. Hopefully the portal can provide some relief. Rice obviously looking for financial gain. He will be missed.

From what I am hearing don't be surprised if more guys leave especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Stupid question, but if the spring transfer portal window is from 16-25 April, how is someone like Cam Rice able to enter and put his name in?
