This is completely embarrassing to every Ohio University alum holding down a normal job Friday morning.

Down by 2 Touchdowns and this is the garbage we are doing....on National TV....against a ranked opponent.....after we just got housed by SU and lost to an FCS opponent at home?

This is low rent garbage. We have guys that look totally ridiculous with Cowboy hats on trolling the sideways (I don't care if they are Arkansas State Strength and Conditioning wizards), we have players that are more worried about a crown/scepter/throne than actually playing football as a team.....don't give me "this is how you recruit" BS. In exchange, I tell you this is how you act professional and handle your business.

I saw it in the pregame warmups vs Syracuse - this is not the same operation Frank was running. It's unorganized and undisciplined. It's shlock.

Someone needs to get control of this situation ASAP.

Can't imagine Albin convincing ANYONE to come play for his dumpster fire.

He's the worst coach I have seen in my life. Absolutely pathetic beyond imagination. I'm not sure he'd be a good high school gym coach.

The fact that he hasn't been fired is a stain on this program.

FIRE ALBIN

What a day at the Convo.....Wow!

I don’t even think it’s good for recruiting. It just looks like a copy of a copy of a copy of an outdated thing Miami did four years ago. It’s a Wal-Mart plastic Adirondack chair they spraypainted. And then to do it while getting housed makes the program look clownish.

I can't believe that stupid Wayne Newton Vegas Show Surplus Sale Lawn Ornament fits in our POS equipment truck.

And I can go to Rod's Western Palace off I-71 and show you how to dress up like a real effin cowboy.

You can't win them all. But you can't lose to a semi-FCS team with 40 scholarships. That is not an option. Not in 2021.

People could excuse the Syracuse loss if he beats Duquesne by 20.

Super embarrassing. Watched it live and as an alum just thought of the others watching this who were laughing at this team and program.

It starts with Albin and ends with Albin.

Has anyone on the coaching staff addressed this at all? Does anyone think they will? To me, the heat coach should put an end to it, and publicly state as much.

I’m not embarrassed. Every game has a winner and loser. Tomorrow is another day. That’s the nice thing about playing sports. You can do better the next time. I guess you’ll have to put your gear away and hide in the corner.

I truly hope they never let you coach a youth sports team with that losing attitude. This idea that winning isn’t the most important thing is ridiculous. I think you’ve heard too many coaches ramble endlessly about how the thing they are most proud of and strive for most is developing good young men and boasting about their high graduation rates. It’s a lot easier spewing that bs with a straight face when you are Nick Saban. The “do better next time” mentality might work for an MLB team but you only have a 12 game regular season in college.

There is a lot to learn in sports from winning and losing. And at youth level through college the most important thing a coach does is the character that he brings out and teaches in young men and women that they carry throughout their lives.

Will teaching character keep you a job in college or most high schools no.. you also have to win. but i would rather have a coach be 8-4 every year and turn out great people. then win a championship every 3 years and turn out thugs and gangsters.

Ouch. ESPN Bottom Ten. Toledo is in 9th place.

8. Ohio Not State (0-3)
The Bobcats fell on the road to the Ragin' Cajuns of Louisiana by a scant margin of 49-14, and they will continue what seems to be a Spicy Foods of Football tour as they head to Chicago, traveling northwest to face 1-2 Northworstern. The Bobcats are #MACtion's only winless team, no small accomplishment considering the conference has 12 members and nine of them are 1-2, including Ohio's next opponent, Akron-monious, which earned its first win of the season by defeating Bryant. When informed of the loss, the alums of Bryant replied, "We have a football team?"

Did you see that strength coach in the cowboy hat getting a quick vid for social media?

Did we really lose by 35 points? Or... did we actually ***WIN*** by picking up more followers on Insta?!

So teaching kids to celebrate and put the spotlight on them and all about ME, ME, ME when their team is hurting is a good lesson? What about humility and being humble?

Nope. Let's dance around with a crown on our head and sit in a giant throne down 35 on national TV.

Send in the clowns indeed!
