Hey folks. Hope everyone is pumped for another season.

Anyone care to name their top five on each side of the ball for 2021, not counting incoming freshman?

Here is what I got, educate me. Defense more difficult to pick than offense:

OFFENSE:

Tuggle, RB
Cox, WR
Rourke, QB
Meservy, RG
Ryan Luehrman, TE

Note: QB Rogers is obviously an amazing athlete, but will he see the field enough or pass accurately enough to see the field enough? If you could combine Rourke and Rogers, you'd have one of the best players in the MAC.

DEFENSE:

Hampton, S
Thompson, LB
Hudson, CB
McCracken, NT
Johnson, LB

Note: Folks that may blow up in 2021. CB Birchette, LB Blauser, DT Matthews

Agree with most of your offense, except I would add Danneker and Sink to the offensive side of your list. The offensive line play will be keys to success this fall.

Lots of potential on the D-Line this year...Caesar, McCracken, Burton, Daxon, Burks, Matthews & Mayfield (MSU transfer).

Hoping for a big year out of Caesar.

Two linemen who could surprise would be 375 pound Va Tech transfer Jackson on the O line and Mayfield from Michigan State on the D line.

He's not our best offensive player, but he's our only guy who you could make the argument is the best player at his position in the MAC. That's Ryan Luehrmann, who very well could he the MAC'S best tight end.

Agree-Kurt Danneker and Sink are great and the interior o-line is where it starts

I'm not seeing AOG on the roster. Are we sure he's coming back? I know he dealt with injuries last season.

I'm a big fan of McCrory. I'm glad he is here. He could step in for Dorsa without a big drop in production and may be better.
