Yeah, I know it's way too early to be thinking about this, but assuming the season is somewhat normal this year the MAC will have six direct tie-ins and four pool tie-ins with bowl games this season. All will be on an ESPN channel except one, the yet-to-be-scheduled Arizona Bowl, which would be on CBS. Here's how it looks:

Direct tie-ins:
Bahamas Bowl vs CUSA, 12/17, noon, ESPN
Lending Tree Bowl (Mobile) vs Sun Belt, 12/18, 5:45 pm, ESPN
Famous Idaho Potato Bowl vs MWC, 12/21, 3:30 pm, ESPN
Camelia Bowl vs Sun Belt, 12/25, 2:30 pm, ESPN
Quick Lane Bowl vs Big 10, 12/27, 11 am, ESPN
Arizona Bowl vs MWC, TBD, CBS

Pool tie-ins:
Cure Bowl (American, CUSA, MAC, MWC, Sun Belt, Army), 12/17, 6 pm, ESPN2
Boca Raton Bowl (American, CUSA, MAC, MWC, Sun Belt, Army), 12/18, 7 pm, ESPN
Myrtle Beach Bowl (American, MAC, Sun Belt), 12/20, 2:30 pm, ESPN
Frisco Bowl (American, CUSA, MAC, MWC, Sun Belt, Army), 12/21, 7:30 pm, ESPN

The Camelia Bowl is the only bowl game on Christmas Day and somewhat serves as a lead-in for the Browns-Packers game (4:30 on Fox).

In all, there are 42 bowl games proposed for this year. Two have yet be scheduled, the Arizona Bowl and the Redbox Bowl, which is trying to find a home after the 49ers refused to renew the stadium contract. Jimmy Kimmell (likely through Disney) bought the naming rights for the brand-new LA Bowl, probably so he could include his book of unfunny jokes in the swag bag.

We will get by.

We will survive.

If money is no object the Bahamas Bowl is cool. The game is probably just a sidebar to other things.

The bowls in Mobile and Montgomery are cool too. A little out of the way but you could drive to Orlando afterwards for tourist overload or stay on the gulf coast for a few days.

Boise is underrated. Weather can be dicey (or surprisingly mild) but lots to do if you like snow sports.

Detroit is err drivable for most.

Arizona Bowl (Tucson) is a really nice locale in December. Look at flying into Phoenix for better flights.
