That darn Julie Cromer is so busy going to industry events that she totally forgot about the university's highest paid employee's contract.

I’d love to know what the criteria were that got her all those awards. How’s the department doing overall and by individual sports?

I looked up the criteria. Seems like they very heavily weigh a recipients ability to leave a bunch of dudes butthurt on the internet for no reason whatsoever.

2024 dunk of the year.

Follow the link on the general thread and you'll see it. I'd put this at the top of the list of significant accomplishments.

Ohio's NCAA Graduation Rates have reached record numbers with a 94% Graduation Success Rate in both 2022 and 2023. The 2015-16 cohort marked the third-straight year Ohio led the MAC and set a GSR record. Ohio achieved its highest-ever GPA at 3.32 in the spring of 2021, while the cumulative student-athlete GPA was 3.23.

And I just wondering how she was responsible for that. How did the teams do on the field?. Good to know we have a group of good students. Is it possible to have good student/athletes.

The same way any other person in charge is responsible for what happens during their tenure. Seems the far right have blamed Biden for everything that has happened since Jan 20, 2020, whether he had anything to do with it or not. Not trying to send this to Siberia but it is how many measure things today. As for on the field success, soccer won the MAC title, men's basketball made the MAC semis, and football made it to another bowl game. There have been tons of posts applauding those accomplishments.

So Alan thinks Julie's job performance is equal to Biden's?

Yikes. Thought this was a family friendly website.

So we won one title out of 16 sports and that’s good. Okay I get it.

Simply an example of how as a society we either reward or blame the person in charge when something good or bad happens whether the person had anything to do with it or not

This award recognizes performance on and off the field as well as contributions to the industry on a local, conference, and national level. Obviously here peers see something that some posters here have trouble recognizing. Here accessibility and honesty are two things immediately come to mind.

Perfect. Since she's so accessible and honest, who is asking her about Boals contract?

Based on OU's HR salary website, which was last updated March 28, 2023 (so should see new data any day now showing 23 salaries as they update each Spring).

It lists Boals 2022 salary as $592,620.

It’s certainly not all about winning. I know that. Seeing teams and coaches showing good sportsmanship does a lot to represent the university in a good light. That’s very important to me.

And by the way, can you leave politics out of the conversation. This is a sports forum, I come here to get away from that stuff.
