Got to speak with and shake hands with Dr. Gonzalez at the Buffalo basketball game. Apparently, she likely had something to do with the new O-Zone shirts given to us at the game. She really liked what we were doing within the student section and took time to talk with us about our majors / how we liked campus etc. She was extremely nice and seemed to really want to connect with us students, much like I've heard how Alden was. Me and a friend commented after how it was incredibly nice of her to come talk with us, especially on a Tuesday night amid a likely busy schedule. I've seen her around campus and at a lot more campus sporting events than the previous interim president did. But based on my interaction with her, I have a feeling the OU board made the correct decision on hiring her.
