It is easy to think that we will probably only have 4 or 5 home non-conference games in November and December. One of those will be against a non-D1 school. I think it will actually be nicer to have the home SBC game in February as opposed to November. People really don't get into the momentum of college basketball until college football is over. We played Delaware last year on a December Saturday with students on campus and only 4500 people were there. With the season opener at JMU the following Monday, I doubt we host an exhibition that Saturday. More likely the preceding Thursday. Don't know why we don't work together across our departments with this. Put dad's on the second weekend of November, stick Austin Peay there or screw it, Incarnate Word, any D1 team and show the dads a real game.
