I'm in the process of creating a consensus 120 -- a top to bottom ranking of the 120 FBS teams based on other rankings.  So far, I'm incorporating the prognostications of Athlon Sports, Rivals.com, Sporting News, New York Times football writer Paul Myersburg and the Orlando Sentinel.

If anyone can steer me to another ranking of all the teams (I've tried to locate Lindy's online without success), I'd be appreciative.

Thanks!

For Athlon, be sure that you use their rankings for this season rather than their rankings of program status.  I think Ohio is ranked #107 or something like that in program status, but higher for this coming season.

Jeff, the Athlon 120 I used has the 'Cats at #90.

As I posted previously, here is a website that builds a consensus of many picks. They don't do the whole 120, though; they do the Top 40, plus then build a consensus on a conference by conference basis:
http://www.stassen.com/preseason/consensus/2010.html

Also on that site is data comparing the accuracy of the various publications in prior years.

Entirely off the top of head and with no partic knowledge, is Temple really gonna be that good (didn't they graduate some players and have question at qb) and won't CMU have a significant drop off also after losing qb?

Monroe, I believe their good RBs were very young, and I think they will have an experienced and big line.  The Owls and Huskies enter the season as the expected favorites in the East and West.

Temple back in 2005 was a joke, but they had the top-ranked recruiting classes in the MAC for about fourl years in a row. They will be tough competition.
