According to the news archive August 10 was first day of Fall Camp last season. The first scrimmage was held August 19th.
We are about 30 days from Camp beginning.

Anyone know about student-athletes remaining in Athens over the summer and working out together?

I seem to recall that we had a notably large contingent--decidely more than any prior year--in town last summer.  Seemed to pay dividends on the field.

Where's the band?!

100+ guys working out during summer session #1.  Lots of walk-ons on campus for summer too.  Anxious to see if there are any new guys for camp or if they get to fill out the 105 roster with guys who have been here all summer.  Will depend on practice needs.

Just an fyi..it seems this practice has become the norm for college football.  Here at UC, I see the QBs, WRs, RB, and DB/LBs working on pass routes catching and coverage every day around 1pm.  So, I am not sure there really is any advantage gained here.  It is more of the keeping up with the Jones's!
