It is tough when fast food joints discontinue a menu item. I still miss the Arch Deluxe... and Wendy's Pepperjack burger...

This reminds me of when I contacted the MAC office back years ago about a basketball scheduling snafu of some sort.  Unfortunately, I used the term "tragic" to describe the situation.  In return, I received a stern lecture from a MAC staffer about my wacked out priorities and how a sports scheduling issue in no way could be considered "tragic" by comparison to other human problems.  While I thought the MAC staffer missed my point and overreacted somewhat, I think I did deserve some criticism for my misuse of the term "tragedy."

So, of course, this poll is very much tongue in cheek.

Ah, another example of why the MAC office suffers.  Why even bring that up in a reply?  Jeesh.....

No worries Jeff.  Looking at the vote right now, I'm guessing most knew you were just having fun.

Drill baby drill.

Or how the McRib of McDonald's, while only coming around a few times of year as it is/was, has not made an appearance in quite some time now!

Hi, guys!
Have not been on this site in quite a while and just saw where all the old posts and data were lost!!! OUCH!!!  Big hurt... I hadn't realized how much fun this board was and how much I missed all the crazy people here!  I have had some serious health issues that have been taken care of, thank God, and am back lurking on the board...look forward to some good football this season and following the Bobcats season via the 'net and this board.....glad to see my  "old" friends here: Monroe, Jeff, Pete, etc....of course, you guys are not old at all, just more mature!   talk to you all later!

Hey, Joe:
Good to hear from you....how's your son doing??  He hasn't graduated from high school yet has he???
KK is doing well...a computer engineer/software designer for a company in Woodstock GA...lives north of Atlanta, married  4 years to a former Bobcat athletic trainer...we'll be going down for some golf in August.  He doesn't get back here very often, we try to get down there 2 or 3  times a year.
I just found out about the data loss!! Huge hit...lots of great posts on this board...all gone...kind of sad in a way....the passion of Bobcat football was so evident, and gone, gone, gone....like the wind...
so now we look forward to NEW posts!
I'll be lurking, I don't post much, but still follow the guys and enjoy the fall.....GO  CATS!!
Best to you and your family!!

Bigger tragedy: The Decision pulled a 9.0 Nielsen TV rating...which for the Average Joe who doesn't pay attention to ratings...equal to the World Series. Thats ludicrous and fascinating on so many levels.

Biggest tragedy possibly: If the data loss happened during a MAC Tournament run or Miami week in football.
