Life On The Hot Seat

Here is TMD's rankings for each FB coach and his job security. One thing that I hadn't thought of, there are a lot of pretty secure jobs in the MAC this year. Obviously, Coach Solich seems pretty safe. He's done a great job.

Haywood is going to be out in 2 more years. One reason is they've scheduled over their head at Miami. It cost them a bowl game in 2007 the year they won the MAC East title. The second reason is that they aren't paying Haywood anything and with the success Golden and Solich are having as high profile coaches the pressure is going to be on to bring in a real name coach. Howard Schellnenberger would be an interesting choice if he was not so old. Miami is on a collision course with a J. Crew outlet.
