A lot of research went into that. It was very well done. A few of the candidates seemed way out there, but I guess you don't know until you analyze them. A few of the ones mentioned I would never have thought of as a realistic Big East candidate, but the numbers suggest otherwise. As I've said before, though, I'm not sure the Big East is interested in expansion as much as some people think. They still are the best basketball conference in country and they still are doing OK football-wise. As the story mentioned, attendance is still substantially higher than any non-BCS conferences. And although Cincinnati did not stack up to the very best in the BCS this year, I think the Big East has nothing to worry about as far as staying a BCS conference. I'm still not really sure any possible addition at this point any teams would make the Big East better or make it more money.
