Taylor Price had one catch for seven yards in the Pats 28 - 10 victory.  Taylor had two balls thrown to him.

Also had two fielded punts, both fair caught, with one of those being questionably returnable, as there were no defenders within a 10 yard halo at time of catch.  He is also playing as one of the two kick returners, but did not have a return opportunity.

Once again, he played nearly every snap in the second half, but only played the final series of the first with the 2nd string QB.  He continues to look good away from the ball, looking to make blocks away from the ball, and shows a lot of energy/team minded spirit.

The tight ends continue to be featured in preseason, which is a typical for the Pats for the last several seasons, evidenced by the fact that three TD's last night went to TE's.  This is limiting the number of chances for the wide receiving corps this preseason.

Let's hope Taylor continues to receive a large portion of playing time this preseason as he has in the first two games, and also gets an opportunity to have some first team duty in the final two preseason games.

And for the record, I hate tOSU, and Ricordati and Torgerson are DB's.

This made my day!!!

"And for the record, I hate tOSU, and Ricordati and Torgerson are DB's."

Not necessarily the former statement (even though I whole heartedly agree regarding A&M's program) but it's very reassuring to realize that those Moron's uneducated rantings have earned them a well deserved reputation that reaches all the way to New England!

Thanks 36, my ire for those DB's (and also Chris Spielman, who I don't include in my signature because I will get a bunch of whiney, tOSU sympathizers that lurk on this board PM'ing me about how I should cut him slack because he suffered the tragedy of his wife dying from Cancer, which is completely unrelated to him acting like a DB in 2008) extends from the 2008 post game references that they were making to Boo Jackson as "Boo Radley", which I found offensive to the highest degree to Boo, and in general.

I raised this issue with all the media outlets in the Columbus markets, and ESPN as Spielman's empolyer, and received the following recognition from the President and GM of RadiOhio.  Let's hope they have enough forethought in September to not repeat their prior, classless act.

If it's repeated this year, I hope you will all join me in raising the issue once again.

"Hi Dave –
Sorry I’m so late in getting back to you, but I wanted to follow up as I had said I would.  Mike Ricoradati and Chris Spielman have both been made aware of this situation, and that their choice of words was inappropriate.  Not sure if you ever experience this in your business, but in ours, sometimes people just blow it.  This appears to be one of those cases.
Please accept our apologies –

Well done DA!

I've been to bat a few times on similar subjects and have always found Dave to be responsive and level headed.  It's refreshing to know that there are a few people in power that respect the influence the media has and that they do their best to serve as responsible gatekeepers.  Keep up the good fight!
