Perhaps someone more understanding of this situation can explain? More than likely they looked at the standings, saw the records, and before looking at the rules or CHAMPIONSHIP GAME NOTES, they said "hey these guys tied Ohio last year for the MAC East, but Ohio got to go because they beat 'em." Kinda like the Big Ten having a tie and sending one to the Rose Bowl because they beat the other team. Not suprised by the Kent pick, they are holding the cards schedule wise getting both us and Temple at home. I think they win at least one of those games. The 'Cats are not a so-called sleeper or dark horse.  In the prognosticators' minds generally, we are a very good team with question marks that are more notable than the question marks that Temple and NIU are perceived to have.
