I am aware that the QB is between Jackson and Bates but wondering the current status at RB?

I am guessing that Davidson will be the initial starter at RB with perhaps Boykin spelling him?

Have not seen Davidson's name on this board, and had assumed earlier this summer that with Harden not available the first six games, Davidson would be the de facto starter. Also, I would assume we are going to continue to run a fair amount of 2 back sets? Any one have an idea regarding the current RB depth/rotation?

I've heard good things so far about Boykin, and have to think he would get a share of carries as well.

Two running back sets?  Did we run a single play of that last year?  I'd love to see us run that occasionally.  If we could do it well, we'd give teams soooo much to have to defend....

Why didn't you go into coaching?

Whatever happened to Kenny Ashley? Did he just never get here?

Ashley had a little problem at El Camino Junior College, those classes just kept getting in the way.

Has Vince Davidson played in either scrimmage?

Ahhhh.....who needs a backfield?

Didn't Bates get a 65 yard TD run in the scrimmage?

Just have an empty backfield with double TE's....Tight Endz .....right Monroe?

Prediction......if Bates is our starting QB he'll be our second leading rusher.

If Bates is as talented as he sounds, I think we'll see Boo and Bates in the backfield together at times. Bates has big running back size and speed. Both throw it and run it well too. Exciting to ponder!
