Click this, then go to Online Media and click on WXTQ.  It is a better connection than the Ohio Bobcats site, and you get the commercials.

I just purchased the video feed from allMACess for the first time and the audio is just guys in the control booth talking to each other. is that normal? I've got the radio feed up but Russ and Co are on a 2 minute delay so its not in sync at all. I feel like I'm stealing scrambled porn. Anyone else having the same problem?

I have it on WXTQ now but the quality is not so hot.  Keeps cutting in and out.

I signed up for the webcast, but can't connect (as usual). I just tried the audio, and it works fine.

Hey guys, I just found a live stream of the game on channelsurfing.net.  Link is posted below!  Go Bobcats!

Now i lost the all-mac access again. Also, the quality of the broadcast is much, much worse than what I remember from a couple years ago. In fact, it is by far the worst webcast of anything I've ever seen. Lots of artifacts, very difficult to see what is happening because the picture is so broken up when I get a picture at all.  There is major lag. Whole plays simply aren't there. I see Boo tackled at the 29, then I see a handoff at the 3 yard line to Davidson. I see an incompletion to McCrae, and then I see that Ohio has somehow scored. No idea what happened....

The whole MAC-Access saga plays like a Lifetime Movie-of-the-Week. You guys continually play the Nancy McKeon/Valerie Bertinelli role and MAC-Access plays the abusive husband/boyfriend.

Act like Fawcett and burn the bed already...

I didn't buy the broadcasts last year, so I was hoping the broadcasts would be a little better than 2 years ago due to the continuing march of technology.  If they were the same as 2 years ago, I'd be ok with that, but this isn't nearly as good.

Agree.  I'll detail probs getting into MAC Access later.  But the video is totally herky jerky.  Could MAC Access be worse if thy tried to make it worse?

Dont want to jinx myself but I have been using MAC Access for the last 3 years and I've never had a problem with it. It usually takes a few min in the beginning of the game for the audio to synch but other than that the video is always fine for me.

It sounds like they caught onto the channelsurfing .net link and cut it off

Two years ago it was mostly fine. Actually, it improved a lot during halftime, and i got to watch the show, which was good. Let's hope they can keep it running in the second half.

Edit - Picture is fine the second half. It isn't perfect, but it is normal webcast quality.

Edit - Now the picture is totally gone. There is some kind of controversy regarding a pass-interference call. They have played it 5-10 times. I haven't seen it yet, have no idea what was called. Ohio seems to have the ball, but that's about all i know. The only words I have heard in this drive have been "Davidson" and "Foster the redshirt Freshman".

The channelsurfing link works well.  How come they get to show it for free?

I gave up on the paid channel. Picture is somewhat better on channelsurfing, but the sound is much, much, much better. I haven't missed a word yet.

Edit - the radiocasters say the the kick was blocked, but the picture shows the score as 27-10, as if it was good.

Is it the same broadcast, i.e. same announcers & video?

Yes, the same picture, and the same sound. The sound is the normal radio broadcast. Channelsurfing may be picking up the sound and picture independently.

Ouch - picture was good enough to see a wicked hit on that last kickoff. That had to hurt. I can't see how they called that not a fumble, though.

That was a HUGE hit on that last kickoff.  My brother (also an alum) said that the receiver went out of bounds and was the first guy to touch the ball on the pass on the fake field goal.  So, there was no penalty as he was not an eligible receiver (due to having gone out of bounds).  Still, we got faked out and beaten on that one.  Not good.

These "broadcasts" are a joke... something needs to be done ASAP... it's 2010... If Floyd Mayweather and Chad OchoCinco can get up a Ustream feed with no problems, then surely our conference can figure out how to get a football game to not freeze...
