After every game there are things teams can and should do to improve, but I never had any doubt about winning the game. I think our defense played reasonably well. More than 40 percent of Wofford's offense came in the first quarter -- 98 of 220 yards -- when we were adjusting to the option attack. More than 25 percent came on a fourth quarter drive that resulted in no points. In between, they didn't do much at all. I'll give the Terriers credit for going 4-6 on their fourth down plays. But, they were 2-12 on third down which suggests to me that for most of the night we put them in down/distance situations that were less than favorable for an option attack. Our offense wasn't explosive by any means and a had a slow start. We picked it up in the second half, though. We were pretty efficient overall -- 6-13 on third down, 1-1 on fourth down and 5-6 with our red zone opportunities.
