Just wondered how halftime was today between the battle of the bands (if there really was a battle) and what the 110 played and how were they were received by the crowd? Also, did anyone attend the skull session and did the 110 get invited to play at postgame?

Yeah, I know this is a football "Chat Site" but the marching bands are also part of the pagentry of what is know as college football. So, I was just curious to hear from those who attended the game, because everytime you heard a band play on TV, it was OSU and not the 110 and I am not talking about after scores either. Even between plays all you heard was OSU and did the 110 ever get a chance to play during the game or was it mostly OSU like it sounded was happening on TV?

Thanks perimeterpost for the information. If you find anything else on either band at the skull session or halftime, please post it. If I find anything, I will also post it. Looks like they were well received and even some of the OSU Band was grovin' to the 110's performance.

Both bands did a great job.  It was nice to see the 110 at the game today.  Good luck the rest of the year!

It has to be a great time had by all with the two best college bands in the country in the same arena. Great sounds and sights, I am sure!

Both bands played at postgame. tOSU band played Stand Up and Cheer as well. Everyone that stuck around seemed to enjoy both bands - as they shared the field together, and trading off turns playing.

I can say, I enjoyed how they did Stand up and Cheer the first time, second time was alright after that they were pushing it.  While I enjoy a team that shows class, they played it at least 10 times WITH their song, which in my opinion was crossing (that is since they did it 10 times) the line of "class" and "putting on the appearance of having class".  Had they left it at the one time at the skull session and the one time on the field, yeah it would have been great...but 10 times is pushing it terribly.

The opposing team sucks!

Skull Session: Ohio played Stand Up and Cheer, Light Up and Long Train Running.  OSU fans responded very nicely with a standing ovation on Long Train.

Pregame: Ohio did normal pregame "Stand up and Cheer" to Diamond Ohio formation and played "Alma Mater, Ohio".  OSU did their traditional down field fight song, honored Ohio with "Stand up and cheer" and did Script Ohio.

Halftime: 110's first ever halftime performance in Horseshoe was "Dreams" by VH as the marching drill spelling out "OHIO" and "Panama" for the dance chart.  OSU performed a "Looney Toons" show...I admit I didn't watch the OSU halftime show because needed a break from the sun.

Postgame: Ohio did "Stand up and Cheer", "Light Up", "Long Train" and "Cheer".  I think a couple of the State Troopers on the sideline got a little nervous when the cymbals ran up behind them to do Light up.  OSU did their fight song, Stand up and Cheer and a reprise of their halftime Looney Toon song while standing in block formation too.
